The Yad Alliance Giving Circle - Dedicated to the Life and Legacy of Dr. Nissan Kahen

Dr. Nissan Kahen was a visionary who embodied kindness, generosity, wisdom and unparalleled humility. The "Yad Alliance" giving circle is a charitable group dedicated to his life and legacy.

Founded in 2017, the Yad Alliance was formed by dear friends and family of the Kahen Family with the mission to support non-profit organizations in Los Angeles who are securing Jewish continuity and growth for the next generation with an emphasis on Jewish Education.

A giving circle is a unique approach to Tzedakah where individuals come together and pool their charitable dollars, decide together where to give the money, and learn together about their community and philanthropy. The impact of giving goes much farther because we are united and intentional in our charity.

To date, Yad Alliance has distributed grants to 6 organizations in Los Angeles to sponsor educational scholarships, outreach programs, dating seminars, spiritual programming for girls and more.
